An unusual invitation to dinner and an evening of bridge turns into a murder investigation for Hercule Poirot. His host, the eccentric Mr. Shaitana, also invited three other detectives and four people he greatly admires. After all, Mr. Shaitana admired them because he believed each of them had already gotten away with murder.
